Asheville Bear Creek RV Park

I'll never stay at this campground again & if you care about the safety of your family you won't want to stay here either. I had a minor disagreement with the owner over my pup sneaking out the door behind me. The owner then blew this situation far out of proportion going as far as threatening to unalive my dog then trying to force me to leave the campground with zero refund after having paid for an entire month upfront. After our disagreement I left for work. While I was gone for the day the owner decided to come by my camper to leave a note on the door asking us to leave. Instead of just taping the note to my camper door the owner of the campground decided to open my camper door to poke his head inside and as soon as he saw my partner inside the camper he quietly shut my camper door and left. I don't think he knew that anyone else was home at the time otherwise I doubt he would have tried to open the door without permission. The owner of this campground is completely unhinged. There is far more to this story than I'm posting here. Just be aware and read the other reviews spanning several years that confirm what I'm saying is true.

This is a campground for longterm stays, short term stays, and its concrete pads. They have showers, bathrooms, picnic tables, and a seasonal swimming pool. Concrete is cracked in a lot of spots and caved in so you must be careful where you step other than that, the workers have been extremely helpful to me and my fiancé! The location is nice, especially cause it's close to a lot of things and only minutes from downtown Asheville. The price is a pretty good deal, especially when you proce hotels surrounding the area. We travel for my fiancé job, so we take our camper with us every time. The price is pretty well the same at this RV campground as it is most others that do monthly stays.

Location is great but it’s currently 1:20AM and there is the loudest construction going on. Showers run cold and the park is far from full. I’ll report more when I’m not so delirious after days of lack of sleep. I get it’s not their fault but I still wouldn’t recommend coming any time soon for this reason.

Allowed us to check in late and even pick our site, nice clean bathrooms and showers. Very friendly. Will definitely go back again.

Close to Biltmore was the only positive. We had a pull through site 3A, we had no wifi, site was small and there were people living in the other sites. Not a typical GS rating
