A lot of road noise, but they tell you that up front. The camp was clean, the staff hard working and friendly! The sites need to be leveled better, but we were able to level using our blocks in our class A. They only have one dog park, and it's over where most of the long terms are ans if you are in the pull through up top its a long walk. They have a nice pool and nice trail around the camp. I'm not sure I would agree with it being called a holiday ( lack of amenities) but a good journey for a 2 day stay.

We had a great time camping at KOA Asheville. I booked a last minute tent site while on a roadtrip to Tennessee and somehow I got the only tent site which was very spacious. *We camp out of our truck* Our site was close to bathrooms and across from a dog park which was a nice addition since we had our 2 dogs. The bathrooms are insanely clean for a campground and the showers were lovely and heated. Only downfall was the cars at night since we’re right next to the freeway but it was easy to fall back asleep (mind you, we’re in a tent and we’re fine so you’ll be okay in a camper). There is a house next door that has a dog that lives outside and it woke me up with non stop barking at 2am - 3am … so sad. Get your free earplugs from the check in center, that helped.

Convenient location right off the interstate. Sites are clean and mostly level. Bathrooms were immaculate with warm and spacious showers. Staff was super friendly and very helpful with our back in site. KOA campgrounds are usually a little more expensive but always worth the money. The dog park was great, the trails were fun for our dogs and laundry services were solid as well. The only bad thing about this campground was that we couldn't stay longer. Would definitely camp here again.

We stayed at site B17 for one day. We had power for 7 hours of our 18 hours at location. We had to reset breaker numerous times. It would run for short time and cut off. We are KOA members. Our cost $46 for stay (water/power). I asked for discounted rate when we left. They told me they would have to have electrician check to make sure it was on their end and not our camper. They would be back in touch after they had more information. The breaker had to be replaced. Heather, the owner, had staff call with $4.50 reduction. I expressed I was hoping for 50% or $23.00. The second call she increased to a total of $6.80 off. All the staff was very kind and considerate. My rating is based on owners decision she felt inconvenience and not providing amenities (power) at rate promised for full stay only worth only $6.80 to KOA members and guest.

Great campsite! We camped here last weekend with our 26' travel trailer. A bit noisy with the nearby hiway, BUT the noise was not too noticeable. What was remarkable was that staff was GREAT, also super-clean bathrooms, sites, etc... Wife/kids enjoyed the pool. Overall a great trip - so giving them a 5 star on service, which really made the difference on location.
