Absolutely beautiful campground. Very quiet and clean. It was one of the most peaceful places I have ever stayed. We were right on the river facing it with the way our camper was situated. It have it feel like we had our own private area. Will definitely be going back!

This might be the best kept camping secret in the Monadnock Region. Large sites with plenty of room for big campers and the entire campground was clean and well maintained. The owner is very pleasant and has created a nice relaxing environment. Lots to do for the whole family. We are looking forward to many more stays here in the future.

My family and I have gone to this campground every year for 5 or six years and been very happy. They have more and more seasonal campers and some are very unpleasant. This will be our last visit to this campground! You're really trying to rationalize it's about me going to get coffee Sunday morning I could not have been more respectful and no matter how many phone calls you claim to have gotten I had two campers come over and tell me that they had no problem with the motorcycle and I was super respectful so obviously it's something the seasonal campers had talked about You need just make more of an effort to be a better person yourself and go from there.

Visiting family who were glamping at this lovely spot. Super clean, lovely spots by the river, not crowded. They had a barn now used for large game room. Really pretty spot. People super friendly.

Excellent campground at a reasonable price! We’re very please with the size of the sites, the campground cleanliness, and the amazing staff. If you plan to stay in the Keene area you’ll be happy you spent your time here.

Myself, my husband, my three kids & my sister-in-laws families have been coming here for the last 4 years. There are 4 families and 9 small kids. We book multiple trips per year. Each year, we have noticed that the owner isn’t the friendliest to us. He creeps around at night, and just waits for us to make a sound so he can tell us to be quiet, but we have always been respectful. We just spent the weekend and it was POURING. To the point we had to leave and buy rain boots, etc because the mud was unreal. It was flooded all next to our sites. The last night, he even came to us and told us there was a potential for the river to flood, and we may need to leave the sites and move. When we finished our trip and left, we received a very rude email about the damage our trucks did to lawn and how it would take hours to fix and how he was considering canceling our week trip we had booked in July and putting us on a do not return list. We all have large trucks (8k lbs), large campers (10k lbs) and he walked by our sites multiple times and never said anything to us. The damage was not intentional. It was to get the campers into their spots. There was not much we could do to avoid it. Unfortunately, now we won’t be back. Even when booking our week trip he told us, “you better be quiet”. It always feels like we had to look over our shoulder, which is too bad. It’s a beautiful spot and we spent a lot of money on merchandise and trips each year. My husband and I were planning on asking to be put on a seasonal list after our week trip. If you’re not young, or speak above a whisper, then this is the place for you. I included photos that show how high the river was, the large area directly next to our sites that was so flooded my kids were SWIMMING in it, and a picture of my husbands truck sunk in the mud.

Beautiful place but the owner needs a reality check. Instead of blaming paying, loyal customers he should work on bettering his sites so flooding and ruts from vehicles doesn’t happen so he doesn’t have to send rude passive aggressive emails.
