Customer Reviews
The location is beautiful and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The dining hall breakfast was fine. Our meeting space was wonderful and the daily afternoon coffee and pastry service that appeared in our gathering room was great. The rooms left much to be desired and we're definitely way over priced for the quality. The architecture is beautiful and the history of the place as a YWCA is very cool. The big complaint is the rooms. The photos are very misleading. Just don't expect anything very nice and you'll not be let down. I would definitely come back but with much lower expectations concerning the room quality.
Amazing location 5 minutes walking distance from the beach! The check in was professional and super friendly on Saturday afternoon at 4.00 pm. We absolutely enjoyed the beautiful room with balcony and view of the sea. The boutique inside is lovely and the products are gorgeous and the lady was so friendly on Saturday afternoon. We also enjoyed the coffee place with excellent coffee and muffins…fresh and tasty on Sunday morning. The hotel is near an excellent restaurant called Passion fish 🐠🐟🐠🐟 A week end to remember .. do not hesitate to book this one ..A GEM 🙏❤️
The rooms are spacious with four beds in them. Some of them have fireplaces and are quite warm and others do not have fireplaces and I hear are quite cold. I was fortunate to request a room with a fireplace so I was toasty warm. The rooms are a little dated, with older plumbing and decor. But you cannot beat the view and the location.
I recently attended a meditation retreat here and had a wonderful experience. The setting is on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with the sound of the ocean waves as a soothing background. The meeting room was great; however, the thermostat wasn't working in the bedroom, making it cold during the night and early morning. The good and the staff responsive to requests.
Old rooms and infrastructure (last time we stayed in December the room heat didn't work - but we paid for a fireplace, so only cold in the early morning). Food is also just ok. But the grounds are amazing (it is a state park after all). Great outdoor amenities and the beach is on your doorstep.
