Great place to get up in the mountains and enjoy getting out of town for a little bit. We stayed in our travel trailer so I can’t rate the rooms, although the grounds were well kept. Our site was level and felt spacious. Layout is great with the slope so you don’t feel like you’re looking right at your neighbor. So peaceful tucked in this Aspen stand.

Too bad we can't leave a 10 star review, what a beautiful place in the pines and aspens with warm and welcoming folks. New owner since June 2024. Great clean and level sites, full hookups. There's also tent sites with water and electric, plus a variety of cabins. The entire campground is well maintained. Some of the upper hill sites have a slight slope, nothing major. One of the cleanest bathhouses we've been in, good hot water and pressure. Camp store, 24/7 rec room with games, pool tables etc., dog park. Great hiking trail that links one side of the property to the other, with offshoot to a local lake. Very close to Bishop's Castle, a real treat to see. Our thanks to everyone here, it's been a real treat and on our comeback list. I believe that they will be open during the winter on a limited day basis, just check. Happy trails!

View, beautiful. Spots small and hard to get into. Booked a spot 7 month in advance for a return trip. They required full payment, reviewed cancellation and refund policy. Had to call on 12/1 to cancel was told 10 business days. Called 1/2 was told it was due to the holidays, that I needed to be patient. Still no refund, you’re lucky if they answer the phone and the person who you need to speak with is never in the office.

We stayed in the RV park, and we were 1000% satisfied. The location of the campground was perfect for our trip. The location of our RV spot fantastic, clean and beautiful! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful with activities and location around the area. We WILL stay here again and hopefully soon. I HIGHLY recommend Aspen Acres!

This is a review of the RV sites, not the cabins. I hesitate to give this review because I'd like to keep this place to myself. The staff is excellent, the grounds are kept very well. Full hookups, and a beautiful setting in a small draw full of Aspens. We have been here several times and is our go-to place to get away for the weekend.
