Great spot to pitch a tent. Beautiful scenery. Lots of tress and bushes between sites to give privacy. A couple vault toilets and a few water spigots. About 10mins east of town and less than 2 mins off the highway. Easy access and a great stop on a road trip.

The campground is usually open through hunting season. It has back in spots for RVs but no water, sewer, or electric hook-ups. Today I took the dog down there because my road was so muddy and the road at aspen grove is much better.

Please know that this is a really nice, 19 site campground and not just a picnic area as Goggle is representing it. There's a host on site, ultra clean vault toilets, and running water available at unthreaded taps around the 2 loops. Stayed here over the 4th of July and it was not full. $8 a night-$4 with a senior pass.
