The camp also offers access to a volleyball net and ball, though these may need to be checked in advance. Firewood is available in abundance, and while mosquitoes are scarce in the upper campsites, visitors should be mindful of the lack of tree shade and steep roads when planning their stay.
The camp host at Aspen Meadows Recreation Camp is always friendly and willing to assist with any questions or needs. This welcoming atmosphere, combined with the camp's amenities and scenic location, makes it a favorite among outdoor enthusiasts and group organizers alike.

Nice camping area for large groups. We used the bottom camp sites 1, 2, 3 and 12 and lower pavilion as a group of 40. There was another group up at a higher site, but we still had plenty of privacy. The lower pavilion had a large storage room with several shelves to store your own food, coolers, crockpots, etc. There are also 2 fridge/freezer combos and one large deep freezer. There is running water, flush toilets, bathroom sinks and showers, but be aware there is NO kitchen sink, so you either can do dishes at the water spigot/hose at the pavilion or camp site areas. Toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap are all provided. There is also quite a bit of large firewood. I suggest you bring your own dish soap, sponge, kindling, pots and pans, serving utensils and plates/bowls, shampoo/conditioner, bath towels etc. The fire pits have covers that can be used for cooking, but there are no stoves, ovens or BBQs. Horseshoes are provided at both horseshoe pits in buckets. Bring your own archery supplies and volleyball supplies. There supposedly should have been a volleyball net and ball, but we couldn’t find them. Pavilion area has several outlets, but there are no outlets at the bathroom sink area. Camp host is very friendly and willing to answer any questions. There is a large field for parking in when you first pull in to camp.
Great campsite pads for large groups or ward campout. Flushing toilets, multiple sinks for toiletry purposes, even showers, and a couple pavilions. Access to a couple of fridges. NO MOSQUITOS (at least in the upper campsites) Couldn’t give 5 stars because there wasn’t much tree shade. The road is steep and can only accommodate a small trailer as long as traffic isn’t coming your way.
Beautiful surroundings. Very steep climbs everywhere and little shade. The bathrooms and showers worked well and had hot water. Besides hiking there isn't much else to do but relax, try and find some shade, and enjoy the nature.
Drove up there today. It was closed. Dont bother you will end up driving up the winding cliff dirt road. Definitely not for trailers. We scouted the place and it was good we did not tow our 34ft trailer the road is NOT for it.
Super duper fun
