Auburn Hills Marriott Pontiac

Definitely not what I expected from a Marriott property. The room was horrible. Ceiling looked like it was going to collapse, huge stain on sofa, stains on walls, handle in the shower was broken off, so I couldn’t use the shower hose, bulb in lamp was hanging by a wire. This room should not be offered to guests. Elevators were out of order. The pool was murky. Very disappointed. I didn’t feel like dealing with getting a different room.

I’ve stayed here several times for work. Amazing hotel!! Just stayed here last week for the 3rd time and got to experience the M-club. I have to give a special shout out to the staff at the M-club. The even staff was so accommodating and friendly and the morning crew matched the same service. The front desk is always friendly and helpful. I would disregard any of these 1star reviews as difficult people that are tough to please. Highly recommend!!

They were still not ready for me gave me a room I didn't book for. Service took almost 20 minutes to get a bottle of shampoo. Place seems like just a party bar spot or a sports convention not a bonvoy hotel. Theirs no really good amenities, money trap. Discounts really dont make a difference. Everything is way outdated. They also hold onto 💯+$ for 7 days after.

Location is fine. Never got to see a room. Got screwed out of my reservation and lied too. They said my company card didn't have enough funds. Come to find out, my company card had the funds and no charge attempt was ever made to the card. They lied to me, which is despicable behavior. Don't give this hotel your time or money. Their sister hotels across the street have better staff, better prices and they don't lie.

Hands-down, this is the dirtiest Marriott I’ve ever stayed in. Customer service subpar! I was there for a UWM convention With a group of people. Several of them had to be transferred to the hotel next-door because although they had a reservations, the hotel said they were out of rooms. Like, what? OK, got to my room. There was no bottled water not even a small bottle to make a cup of coffee. I noticed my duvet was nasty with stains. I Pull it back thinking well maybe the bedding is clean, nope. Disgusting & filthy. Had stains all over it, dirty and grimy. I went downstairs to complain and have the bedding changed. I was told that the cleaning crew was already gone for the day, the gentleman I was speaking to asked me if I could deal with it until the following day. My response to him was, so you’re asking me to sleep on dirty bedding?? They eventually brought me some bedding, all of which stank, and smelled like old bedding that was washed dirty water. Even the pillows smelled bad. I had to lay sheets & towels over the entire bed and pillows to sleep. I forgot my toothbrush and called to have one brought up to me. I was told to come down and get one. This place is a joke on the customer service scale. The lighting fixture in the room was dusty, the phone which we’re supposed to use to call for services was disgusting. Whoever is cleaning this place is doing a poor job! And management is terrible for not Having the rooms inspected after cleaning. For this being a Marriott, this was extremely unsatisfying and low-grade. Never again.
