Amazing Experience with Torin and Sarah! Torin at the front desk and Sarah, the supervisor, were absolutely phenomenal. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, offering exceptional service and warm hospitality. If you're looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, this is it. Relax, recharge, and disconnect from your phone while enjoying life’s simple pleasures. Highly recommended!
We spent a couple nights here and it was perfect. There are a lot of commodities available at their front office. We had the steak package for the first night. The area is nice and quiet and dog friendly.
In short: Pack your own food! Or eat in town. 🔺The “kitchen” you advertised is misleading. The quality of the food did not justify the high prices. Additionally, having your front desk staff also serve as kitchen staff is concerning and reflects poorly on the operation. While the FOH staff was highly attentive to our meal order, this approach clearly pulls them away from other essential duties, such as checking in guests, preparing drinks, or being available “on the floor.” It was evident that they were spread thin, especially during a busy holiday season. Considering the amount guests pay per night, the dining experience should reflect a higher standard, including meals that feel luxurious and thoughtfully prepared. While I understand that dining options in the area may be limited, the food offerings from the “kitchen” at AutoCamp fell far short of expectations, leaving me disappointed. 🌟But there are a lot of other things AutoCamp gets right. I love the bicycles you can use, the swimming pool, the fire pit, and free hot chocolate. The Airstream suite was clean and so functional! I really appreciate that they provided a cast iron to cook in. The location is close to the JT park so there are many wonderful things going for it outside of my feedback for the food quality.
We have stayed at three AutoCamp locations thus far. All stays have been good, although I would argue that this location wins out as long as you like desert vibes. That means you are okay with the dust, the desert mice (they are cute actually like a pet, not scary like a sewer rat lol!) and the drastic temperature changes. We are okay with all of these so game on! Kimberly at the front office was kind and at one point returned our lost phone (thank goodness). Check-in was smooth, but I wish they had additional staff to drive our belongings to our unit. As far as layout it’s gorgeous to drive up to this location they really knocked it out of the park with the clubhouse design and the 7-foot door, wow! The property is entirely flat and doesn’t have the outdoor tents. This made bike rides with the kids easy and just down the block there is a community center with a skate park and kids playground and even a ball field. Pretty cool. Sunsets and sunrises are spectacular and minus cloudy nights you’ll see more stars than in Los Angeles which is where we reside. We opted for the premium cabin and I must say it’s quite an upgrade from the Airstreams. Bigger TV, higher ceilings, better temperature controls, and better views due to the large bedroom windows. We stayed around Thanksgiving which to us is a great time to visit the desert. Your experience may vary if you stay when it’s 118 degrees 😂🤣😂.
Torin, Brie and Daniel are incredible! Every need of ours was met immediately in such a friendly manner. The Airstream was well appointed, super clean and had awesome amenities. We LOVED autocamp and would do it again in a heartbeat.
