Great stay! Very clean rooms with all amenities. The afternoon woman who checked us in and helped with all questions was fantastic! Didn’t get her name but has red hair. Best s’mores we have ever had from the kit. We cooked over campfire each night and enjoyed the fire. The only thing keeping this from a full 5* review is no hot tubs. Would definitely recommend a stay here!
Amenities super convenient for glamping. Great experience for our family and moms who have to carry so much of the mental load. This is our second stay with AutoCamp. First was at Joshua Tree and Zion is equally as nice! Staff super helpful and accommodating to family and kids. We went with two other families and they let us stay in adjacent suites! Hands down recommend AutoCamp!
Great spot. Somethings to keep in mind. Upon arrival, you can only drive to the entrance before needing to transfer your gear to gorilla carts (similar to Radio Flyer). If you have a lot to carry like I did, expect to make several trips down the gravel path to your campsite. Our site was by the river entrance (which was nice) so it was quite a haul. If you opt for the tent option, be aware that there's no air conditioning—only a swamp cooler and a hurricane fan. During our stay on a 100° day, the tent was quite uncomfortable, even at night when temperatures dropped to the 70s. I felt it wasn’t worth the extra cost in those conditions. However, the tent setup was impressive, and I’d love to try it in the winter months. Despite these challenges, the staff was fantastic, and the overall experience was great. I’d definitely return—just with less gear!
Everything about our stay was perfect especially for our two boys under the age of 3, so much so they didn’t want to go home. The tents were comfortable at night and the airstream was perfect for lost activity hang and lunch to escape the heat. Great amenities throughout the ground to explore. Thank you Jennifer, Heidi and Kyle for making our stay great and memorable.
While we enjoyed the airstream and location, we were extremely disappointed by the fact that the key card system did not work. If we left our airstream and accidentally shut the door fully, we would have to walk all the way to the reception and ask for the door to be reopened by staff. This also made us feel we couldn’t leave our room to fully enjoy the site as we didn’t feel safe leaving our door slightly opened for anyone to walk on in and potentially take our things. All we got was a “sorry”. Some sort of refund or complimentary offer would have been appreciated.
