You can contact them by phone at (707) 764-3416 or +1 707-764-3416.

Based on customer reviews, the Avenue of the Giants Stafford RV Park and Campground offers a quiet and comfortable camping experience. The campground provides water and electricity at each site, along with a dump station for departing RVs. While the facilities are described as old, they are generally clean and well-maintained. Upgrades to the site, including bathroom renovations, are reportedly in progress.

The park's location is a major draw, as it is very close to the scenic Avenue of the Giants (Hwy 254) drive. It also provides near access to the ocean and numerous other driving destinations. However, cell service can be limited, particularly for T-Mobile users. Guests have found that using a Travlfi Wi-Fi connector can provide a reliable internet connection.

In addition to traditional RV and tent sites, the campground offers unique accommodations, including dry cabins (equipped with a fridge, microwave, and bunk beds, but no linens) and the charming two-story "Stump House" treehouse (which includes linens and a heater, but no bathroom). While the dry cabins may have a slight damp smell and require a short walk to the bathrooms, the Stump House is described as a piece of art and a cozy, comfortable place to stay.

The campground is noted for its clean, quiet, and well-run environment. Guests appreciate the beautiful calm across the entire site and the opportunity to enjoy campfires after a day of travel.

Features and services mentioned in the reviews include:

Old but quiet and comfortable campground. Water and elec at each site with a dump station when leaving. The price is a bit high but it is California and prices are higher. We were without water for an afternoon and following morning due to some pipe work which will be continued into upgrades to the site. Bathroom was clean but again old but a rebuild is in the works. All in all I would stay here again. Very close to the Avenue of the Giants (Hwy 254) drive that is awesome. Near access to the ocean and lots of places to drive. Zero cell service on my T-mobile account, but I purchased a Travlfi wifi connector and it worked great.

I love staying here. We've stayed in the dry cabins (fridge, microwave, bunk beds, no linens) and the Stump House (charming, cozy 2 story/room Tree house w linens and heater no bathroom). While the accomodations are not luxurious ( -the dry cabins do carry the smell of damp a bit and you have a bit of a hike to the bathrooms) there is a beautiful calm accross the entire site. It's clean, quiet (except for a tiny bit of reassurimg highway hum) and well run. The Stump House is a piece of art. I"ve had the best sleep of my life there. + You can't beat sitting around a fire after a long day of traveling.

Couldn’t be happier. We camped here (Tent) on a whim after a long day hiking the Redwoods. Called late in the day, had no issue reaching the owner/operator on the phone and securing a spot effortlessly. (That’s a big deal.. many other tent campsites require more advance booking, and everything was Full.) We were quite surprised to find that he has quite a large, and stunningly beautiful camping section off away from the RVs in a redwood grove. Wow, was it beautiful. The facilities were in good shape, the owner was kind and gracious, and we had the entire redwood grove to ourselves despite it being late august in the redwoods. See attached picture of our tent, and how each campsite has a picnic table and fire pit. We would gladly return any time we’re back in the area and choose his campground over a Park or KOA type place. Thanks!

Stayed in the Stumphouse — as a former woodworker, I was in heaven. Of course, albeit beautiful this is a bare-bones bi-level cabin, one queen one twin, no sheets. Good electric heaters. But beyond that, pack like you’re camping. The fire pit has a good cooking grate.

So glad we found this campground, looks can be deceiving. I thought it was a great place, what with all the old stumps and lots of room. Price was very reasonable for elec and water for a pull through. I would come back of we lived in CA. I'm glad we found it. Location is great for the Avenue of the Giants.
