Doing remodeling at the Resort. I cannot say enough about the Resort Manager Nancy. She goes out of her way to take care of her guests as well as working with her vendors. Great Job Mrs. Nancy!!!
Called the night before to make a reservation at the Aztec Motorcoach RV Resort in Pompano Beach. The reservationist COULD NOT speak good clear English and was VERY difficult to understand! She said she had availability so I tried to make the reservation. Then things got weird - she WOULDN'T take a credit card! She only wanted payment by Venmo or Zelle! This was extremely unusual since we'd never been here and NEVER had this situation before. We weren't about to transfer funds to some random Zelle account! We really wanted to see this "beautiful" park so we drove to the destination, thinking we could speak to someone in Sales or Reservations on site. We've been actively SEARCHING TO PURCHASE a motorcoach spot and have been looking at several areas in Florida for a gated community like Aztec. We were ready to BUY, not just stay! They were COMPLETELY RUDE and the manager (who wouldn't even give her name) said she'd "been with the property for years" and we were "ABSOLUTELY NOT ALLOWED" on the property! The worst part? She expected us to BACK UP with our FORTY-FIVE FOOT COACH pulling a toy hauler! Anyone who drives these large rigs knows that's VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE without issues! All we needed was to pull forward and make a full circle back to the entrance to leave. This place should change their name from Aztec to ASS-TEC!!
The park have a really nice views plus I can bring my dogs! Looking forward to our next visit!
The concept and grounds are fabulous. I booked thru a private owner. Who never took responsibility. Was never disclosed to me that I would be next to construction all day right next door. Had to smell a port a potty for the whole time. Also if you don’t speak French you will be made to feel very uncomfortable in our own USA. I would not recommend this resort at all.
Beautiful facility and well managed. I gave it a 3 star rating because my space had overgrown trees and I wound up scratching my coach. Very small roads for a class A RV resort.
