Customer Reviews
This is our 1st camping experience here and we are so pleasantly surprised. Close to town with clean, well kept amenities. The staff and owners are on site with helpful suggestions for nearby activity in addition to all that they offer on site. Playground for the children. Rentals for the river with a very nice dock/pier. Full hook up sites are nice sized with pull thrus available. Weekend activities and game night was a blast and geared towards all ages. The office/store was clean and had items I didn't know I needed. :) Dog friendly and quiet hours for relaxing with nature sounds abundant. The laundry, family shower/restrooms are a huge plus. Would highly recommend.
The staff here are amazing and so polite. We sunk a lil on our site when we got there due to some heavy rains day before. So we had to maneuver a lil on site. We left ruts and felt bad so started to fill in the ruts when the owner showed up with our wood and told us not to worry. He was just so understanding and polite. Gave us some pointers of things to see and do and where to fish. We had our own kayaks and also rented a few extra from them and had a day exploring the water ways. We fished and didn’t catch much but had a blast trying. Campground is super clean. Bathrooms were clean and showers were some of the best. We had one small negative experience early on that I won’t even post on because so much was great it far outweighed one lil issue. We loved this place. You will too. Highly recommend it. Close to so much to do and see. We saw a lot of wildlife. Eagles, turtles and fish.
We absolutely love this place! So peaceful and relaxing. Everyone was so nice. Highly recommend you come and enjoy all the cool things they have for campers to enjoy.
What a great campground. My normal camping is at state parks and we tried this one because a friend found it and really wanted to go camping for the Memorial Day weekend. The campground has a good feel to it... Kids riding bikes, playing games, laughing, everyone seems to keep an eye out for everyone. Just people camping in tents and campers, quietly enjoying being outside and with each other. There is a town pretty close by with various restaurants and a grocery store...in case you need something or simply do not want to cook. The campground seems to be working on various things..adding a playground, a few more campsites, etc. The staff is friendly, helpful, always making sure we felt welcome and making sure we had whatever we needed. I definitely recommend this campground for your next camping excursion.
Camped with our fifth wheel in a waterview site. Level gravel pad made set up a breeze. Large lot for chairs, fire and plenty of space overall. Bathrooms & showers cleaned well. Kids play area was close to site and well-maintained. Friendly staff. Rented a tube for a kiddo & kayaks. The staff was amazing and attentive to get us on the water and off. Cannot say enough great things about this place. Will definitely be on my list of places to return to.
