Pretty close to the bike path and not super well maintained, but it does the job if you just want a quick night outdoors.
This is by far the closest primitive site at starkey. Only three miles down the nature trail, though you still have to brave the sugar sand for much of it. It's also possible to get to from the bike trail, though it's not clearly marked. The campsite itself is great, quite spread out with plenty of space for tents and hammocks. You can see damage from the fire nearby but the campsite itself is intact.
