My family and I love this place, plenty of space, they have available restrooms, no electricity, no water, depending on how many days you are staying, make sure you, you take potable water and enough batteries for your lanterns, we stayed 6 days and we have rechargeable lanterns and head lamps, alao the temperature during the night dropped to 30-35 degrees so make sure you have a good sleeping bags, there's no signal, walkies talkies works perfect, that's good so you can experience the full adventure in the forest, also be ready for the elevation 8000, is a great experience and definitely we are going back.
Wonderful campground. Was back in the mountains and rode our horses through. Nice shallow creek flowed through and that allowed our horses the chance to drink. All of the other campers looked like they were having a blast. Highly recommended. Worth the drive.
Really awesome campground. There are some spots that are far away from all the other camps which provide a lot of privacy. When we went, there weren't any bugs, ants, wild animals except a few tagged cows who seemed friendly.
Great location. Very dusty though so things will get dirty including clothes. Also be prepared for the high elevation. Not as much oxygen that high up so pace yourself.
Very nice place to get down and away from the road. There is a nice littler stream that runs through the campground and it appears that it is good for some day hiking/off-road vehicle use.
