Access by minimal stock 4x4 for traction and clearance. 10’ wide dirt/gravel-road. Few pull offs for passing oncoming vehicles. 1-2 hours on trail leads to Badger Lake. Scenery on the journey is spectacular. Lake is beautiful. Dispersed style camping w/an honor system $5/day access fee. No water, no power. No reservations. Pit toilets. Come prepared for off grid, nature at its best, camping.
You'll need ground clearance and 4x4. Although I made it on a CRV with a few scrapes. Nice lake. Fairly remote. Not many other campers. Prepare for flies bothering you throughout the day.
Off the beaten path. Beautiful place to get away for a bit. Fish are easy to catch.
Best campground I have ever been to by far. Definitely need a car with ground clearance and 4wd but so worth the extremely long drive.
