We had a great experience at Badgerland and will definitely be back. It's a great spot to meet new friends and really comes alive on the weekends. Chris and Ally are great hosts and the support staff and so equally as awesome!
Small, crowded but nice park however owners lack customer service skills, are rude, and are poor at communicating. Only seem to appreciate seasonal guests and not so much the weekenders. Office is usually empty and no one answers the phone in a timely manner if you need something. Save your money and choose one of the many other campgrounds that are friendlier and have so many more amenities for the $$. Many of the campsites here are right next to a busy highway which takes away from the “camping” experience.
We stayed for about a week or more at Badgerland Campground! We loved it . Very cozy, smaller, and great people there. We loved the little bar and the pizza they served, met new friends, and enjoyed our stay! Chris even helped out when i locked myself out of our camper! We definitely plan to visit again. Chris and wife were great people! Keep up the great job!
Wow, what’s neat campground. The best campground so far we experienced. The showers and the bathrooms were so clean, really clean. The host Hank, amazing person and he wants to make sure everything is well. The Bar was so fun. Very friendly environment and they even put the soccer game for me and the locals and regulars were cheering with me. It was nice to experience with them this couple of hours. We wish we could stay there longer. Definitely will stay there next time we visit the area. Top notch facilities, friendliness, and environment.
I enjoyed the campground and the bathrooms were extremely clean. Very quiet serene area. Gravel drives for RV spots which held up great during a bad thunderstorm and heavy rain. Customer service was outstanding. Easy location to find and close to Madison. My only concern was the shower facility was extremely clean but not handicap accessible. Must walk stairs and no handicap showers with rails. The shower was small and dark until I figured out how to turn on the lights. I am a disable veteran and always watch for accessibility. I was very happy to be parked by the bathroom. No free showers nor WiFi. Must pay for both extra cost. I would recommend this campground as there is a big swim hole for the kids and play area. I would come back even with the extra costs. This was a last minute I want to go camping and they had openings. Happy camping! Thank you staff for a great weekend.
