A great small free dispersed and legal campground. Room for about 4-5 vehicles or groups with adequate spacing between groups. About a 20 minute 4-5 miles dirt road to reach which has some steep paved uphill sections for easier access. Worth the 20 minute detour from the Hwy to camp in the wilderness near a small creek. Protected from wind since surrounded by hills on all sides. Very peaceful.

Baja is a bare-bones campsite located toward the end of the ‘main’ Forest Route 30S02/Cable Corral Rd. While smaller than some of the other locations, there is plenty of room for vehicles and tents. There are even a couple tables and a fire pit. Good location for those seeking solitude from other rowdy campers as this is a single-site camp. It is also conveniently located right off an OHV trail for those out riding.
