Customer Feedback:
- "Great little campground. About 30 minutes to town if you want to go out to eat or shop. No running water so you have to bring your own. The only complaint I have is that it doesn’t have any hiking trails on site so when I do my morning and afternoon walks I look like a creep walking past the other campers over and over again! Ha! I’ve been there twice so far and the campsites were clean. Bathrooms have plenty of toilet paper. I had good cell reception. This last time I camped by myself (Solo female camper) and I felt perfectly safe. Will come again and I definitely would recommend this campsite to anyone who isn’t afraid to go without a shower for a few days :)"
- "Decent campsites but people don’t respect quiet hours. It's difficult to get a good night's sleep with the noise from off-road vehicles. Also, fishing has been impacted by recent algae concerns."
Baker Dam Recreation Area offers a unique camping experience for those willing to embrace the great outdoors and trade modern conveniences for the beauty of nature.

Decent campsites but people don’t care about quiet time and want to ride their 4 wheelers all day past your campsites. Also we were to afraid to fish because there is an algae in the water they warn you about that is making people and animals sick. No one person was fishing at the dam.
Fantastic campground! Only 19 or 20 spaces with enough room in between to feel like you have some privacy. 2 vault toilets at the entrance along with big garbage dumpsters. Absolutely GORGEOUS area! Picnic tables and fire pits (bring your own LOCAL wood). Have to reserve online ahead of time only. No pay station or anything. Highly recommend. Love it here. Quiet and beautiful.
Me and my husband stayed a couple nights here and it was our first trip with our trailer. Our trailer is 27 feet with a slide out and maneuvering it into our space we reserved was super easy with plenty of room. The other campers were courteous and we didn’t have any loud or obnoxious campers around us during our stay. Having the picnic table at the site was really nice to have and if we had wanted a fire, the fire pit would have been a plus as well. It was easy to get to the campsite and very easy to figure out where you were supposed to be. We also had good cell phone service as well. The area was also nice. Very clean spot.
Great spot for camping. Adequate space between sites. Easy access to restrooms. Great views around sites and reservoir. Firepits, picnic tables... my group had a blast. Would definitely go again.
Such a stunningly gorgeous area alongside the river. Scenic drive from St George. No fees to just enter and enjoy during the day. There is a little gravel lot before a closed gate. There is entry for pedestrians on the sides of this gate
