I've always loved this tucked away and peaceful reservoir. Never too crowded. The area below the dam is absolutely beautiful! Big trees, a stream, picnic areas. Worth going up for the day and not too far away from town.

So So fishing. We caught a few. Pretty place though.
We love fishing and playing in the lake. A beautiful, quiet place to take a picnic and spend the day.
For being out in the middle of the desert to stop and refresh yourself after hunting arrowheads on a hot day I give this place a 4 out of 5. The water's clean the roads good a lot of privacy it was just nice being there. This time of year don't worry @ checking the water temperature, run and dive in, 100% refreshing.
