Nice and quiet park. After arriving and setting up, I found out the site had no power. I moved and all was good. I left for a few hours to get groceries and dinner. When I returned I backed in a little on the grass closer to the door so I could unload the bags. She immediately was at my truck complaining about being off the gravel. Keep in mind the grass was covering 75% of the gravel. She then informed me that my dog was causing a ruckus while I was gone and that others complained. She has dogs in the office and you can hear them barking about half way to the office. I was all the way in the back I had no neighbors and I was one of 3 campers there. I felt that the owners are the type that will try to evict you just to make a buck. Golf cart police at its finest should be her moto! Hopefully everyone else has a better experience. I highly recommend other places.

What a diamond in the rough! Campground is kept extremely clean and camp hosts extremely friendly. We had an issue with our trailer and Stanley didn’t hesitate to help with the issue. We are forever grateful for his help. You can’t go wrong staying here!

We were running late. The owner met us with a smile and led us to the full hookup site. Quiet, peaceful and very clean. It's so easy to find off I40. The price is great. A sweet little country find. We will stop again.

This is our second stay at ballyhoo campground. We stayed the first time for 6 weeks while we sold our house. Doris and Stanley were very gracious host and the grounds are kept immaculate! 6 years later we came back while our new house to be done. (Yes we moved back to Tennessee!) Again Doris and Stanley were very gracious during our stay. I read these reviews about the rules. They are put in place for a reason. So that everyone has a pleasant and safe stay. As for the aggressive dog breeds not being allowed, I myself are glad for those rules, as many seem to think they can let their let there dogs run loose. We have two small poms that wouldn't have a chance if they would be attacked. God forbid a child! This is a very nice campground. We felt very safe here, and I guess if people don't think rules apply to them they should camp elsewhere. After all we all had to follow rules growing up, we shouldn't have a problem with them as adults. If you want a nice quiet campground to relax and have fun, bring your family 👪 here! Thank you Doris and Stanley for another pleasant stay!
