4 of us stayed in the stargazer 1. It was a great stay. It dropped to the low 50's at night. The heater kept the place quit comfortable. The property was beautiful. The trails were not difficult to hike on and well maintained. The best part had to be the staff and their hospitality. They were very friendly and took care of everything we needed promptly. The store even had some last minute supplies at reasonable prices. I highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a getaway into nature.

86 acres + a national Forest to explore! Everything was neat, clean & quiet. We actually rented a camper, but I wouldn't have minded pulling my own. The spots were clear and well spaced, easy to get in & out of. There are washers/dryers available. We loved that the center of the campground had been cleared for a beautiful view of the night sky, perfect for stargazing and meteor shower chasing. It was quiet & out of the way with minimal noise or light pollution, but there was still enough ground lighting to find your way around. We felt very safe.

Great cozy and private campsite. Owner was super nice and very accommodating! He even gave us his personal phone number if we needed anything. Bathrooms were in pristine shape and the hot water was much needed. We had the best time and plan to make this an annual trip.

Our campground host was very accommodating. I stayed in the glamping tent and had all the amenities I needed plus some. It was a beautiful setup. We enjoyed all the outdoor seating and loved having a grill to cook at night. I plan to stay again very soon!

I spent 1 night here tent camping. The tent spots are awesome, very secluded. I felt like I spent a night in the woods all by myself but was in the safe confines of the campground. The cave is really cool. Staff (I think he might have been the owner) was very helpful.

This is the best place to go! I absolutely loved it. Its cheaper than a hotel and cleaner than a hotel if you ask me. Everything is provided for you from towels and wash clothes to coffee pot with actual real coffee. And includes wifi and TV. Owners are super friendly. Its very quiet and beautiful scenery. No one bothers you. I stayed in one of their campers fully furnished. I definitely recommend staying here. They also have hiking trails you go on. You can rent campers, cabins, put up a tent or go clamping! Worth every penny!

We had a large group of dual sport motorcycles that base camped at this campground. Some tents, some hammocks, and some RV's. We had an excellent experience. Awesome staff! Nice clean restrooms. Would definitely stay here again.

I was in the area to hike in the nearby Sipsey Wilderness and only wanted to stay one night. The hosts greeted me on my arrival and directed me to tent site #2. I really enjoyed the solitude and privacy - it was situation well away from other site and had a wonderful open view of the night sky for me to enjoy. The bath house could use a bit of an upgrade asthetically, but it was clean and well stocked. I would most certainly stay here again!

We Stayed at the #2 tent site. The site was spacious and set apart from the other sites. The host was very helpful when we got in a situation. The campground is in a beautiful site and it has great potential. I want to stay in a cabin next time.

Spent the weekend in my trailer with a group of dual sport riders. This is a great location for spending a weekend in Bankhead Nation Forest. The setup there is great for group camping. It was great that they have a way to accommodate all of the various types of camping the group was looking for.
