Fun Hidden Gem with fantastic facilities and amazing happy helpful staff. Went for a friends small birthday celebration crabbing trip. I stayed in the mini cabin and it was perfect. Super comfortable bed, heater and microwave. Clean well maintained bathrooms and showers. The rain, bomb cyclone and wind did not dampen our visit. The staff were an absolute joy. We will definitely be back! Mushroom 🍄 paradise.

Really nice campground with winter camping spots for vans and tenters. Staff was nice to help us check in during a rain storm, and it was a great beach for a morning walk. Showers were coin op and the bathrooms were clean. Very nice local campground!

Barview Jetty, OMG LET ME TELL YOU! This is the BEST camping hands down. I’ve stayed in their campsites, cabins, mini cabins and all 3 are a 10/10! If you camp, walk around the whole place and take note of your favorites sites. Their bathrooms are clean as can be for camp bathrooms. The showers need quarters but a roll will cover you for 3-4 days (per person). The proximity to the beach, and the corner store is great… Especially if you run out of food or just want a quick breakfast sandwich. There’s no mosquitos which is super wonderful compared to forest camping. The folks who work here are so helpful and kind! I love that they have a playground and firewood on site. This is such a fun place! I absolutely LOVE it. It’s almost a 4 hour drive for me but it’s my most favorite place to camp so I’ll make that drive!! Love it here. They have quiet hours which is cool because you will get a great nights sleep!

Sites are really nice but basically on top of each other. Beach is gorgeous, playground is great and bathrooms are clean. I did not try showers. Wood is a little pricey for a small bundle at $8 a bundle. It’s unfortunate how much they overpacked the site, considering the cost but it is a very nice campsite. Had a brown site near the bathrooms

Many great things to say about this place. Well maintained campground, has a playground, close enough to the beach, corner store very convenient (closed on Mondays) and friendly staff. I was very disappointed however when they changed the process for utilizing showers midway through our three-night stay and never notified us. It appears that they have a code to use for the bathrooms, and it is sometimes in use and sometimes not. First night there, no code was needed, although there was a keypad, all showers were accessible. Day two we go to take our showers and can't get in. Maintenance didn't know anything. The front desk didn't know about a code requirement either. Eventually a phone call was made, and the person that decided to make it code entry did not let anyone know. My biggest problem with this is there should be a standard protocol for showers. You either need a code or you do not. If you are change your bathroom entry process midway through a stay, let campers know. Shower time with a toddler and elderly mother isnt the easiest, so gearing up and walking to showers and waiting for answers on how to get in just really sucked, especially when no one knew anything.

This was a nice campground, very easy to get to ocean they have a trail that leads straight to it and it was only a 12 minute walk. They also had a little lagoon that goes out to the ocean that was maybe a 2 minute walk and very pretty with lots of cool sea creatures. The area was nice and clean when we arrived. The campsite we booked said it could fit 10 people and we only had 5 with two tents and were pretty cramped so just be mindful of that. Not sure how they calculate how many people can fit. Other than that it was a nice trip.

Can't speak for the campground itself, but as for the staff..... Staff at check in told my husband and children they could not check in because I booked the trip and was unable to come with them due to work. My family ended up booking a hotel for the night. When i called to find out what happened the staff would not let me change the reservation to my husband's name and let them stay the following night because they have a two night minimum for cabins. They then refused to refund the full amount paid because it was within 72 hrs of the date. Shameful and rude.
