Bass Lake Resort & RV Campgrounds New York

All I can say is Ask them before you sign anything. I bought a time share from Bass Lake Resorts 5 years ago and had it paid off. I wanted to end my time share and thought I could get out of it because my Time Share was paid in full. They wouldn’t let me out of my time share unless I paid $4000.00 more dollars. It cost me another $4000.00 to get out of this time share. They say they will help you sell it that was Bull. So you better check and if they say they will let you out of it. Get it in writing. Read all the stuff they have written and have you initial. After this ordeal I will never buy another time share. Now my other time share which was paid for they let us out of it with no issues. Bass Lake is all about the money.

They are a big scam they advertise "oh we want to make ourselves know to the community so come take a tour of our place and get a coupon for $100 off this.. you call and ask what the catch is and the lady says ohh no we are not trying to sell you anything... Lies you get there are that's what they do... Sell you a load of crap.. just a fair warning to anyone don't put your name as a member with whoever is signing up just be a guest when they go don't write your name on that paper coz if you do even if it's not any of ur financials that are being put you just want to be a secondary member, DONT coz if it doesn't get paid for some reason ever single person on that paper gets screwed.. not worth it the camps are not even that nice.. keep your money get a air b&b don't waste your time with these sorry people!

It is a cute safe RV campgrounds in the woods of upstate NY with a bass lake (free canos to paddle) with a vibrant annual community of regular RV occupants. There is a bar and a small restaurant, two clubhouses, and an outdoor pool. Rumor has it there will an outdoor hot tub someday. Near enough to Pulaski and the King Salmon River to make an October stay very rewarding.

My family came here for a much needed vacation. We really enjoyed our stay. We came to the cafe here and the service was not high on the list. We sat down at our table and got our drinks and gave our food order. In almost 45 min all we got was a drink and no check back to make sure we were ok. We asked a different waitress for some utensils to eat our salad. She stated " He" should be bringing us some, who ever that was. Finally our waitress comes back to tell us that there are only 2 cooks. By this point me husbands salad is mush and I ate mine with my fingers.

The people were very informative what is involved. But it is a ttimeshare as you have to pay every year to save a spot. They were really angry that we didn't buy a time share.

This resort use to be amazing, now it looks like the care of the campground as little to no care it's has issues roofs, road ways and no updates. Also use to have lots of activities for kids and family friendly now that has gone to almost nothing. This resort use to care about its members and the way resort looked and ran ,this is so sad.

Lovely quaint lake campgrounds. Nice size sites. Friendly employees very helpful staff. A bit noisy campers near me with foul language with my young 6 year old with me. Loved the ducks, the lake looked inviting, nice play areas. Bathrooms and showers a bit far away for campers without facilities inside campers, we had to drive to them. The store is amazing stocks with almost everything a camper needs. It was opening weekend so pub was not open, pools closed, boating not open yet either. Arts and crafts for kids was great. Instructors were very kind and patient. We would love to visit again. It was our 1st time.
