Battenkill Glamping Resort

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights at the Battenkill Resort back in July 2024 and had the most incredible experience. We stopped en route from Toronto to Boston and it was the perfect countryside getaway for some much needed rest and relaxation. The cabin itself was fully equipped and the bed was extremely comfortable for a great night's sleep. The facilities at the resort are second-to-none, Scott and his team have really done an incredible job. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and no request was too much trouble. One of our highlights was watching the Euro 2024 semifinal on the big screen TV with a delicious prosciutto and hot honey pizza that Scott had prepared. The surrounding area is stunning in its natural beauty and we enjoyed soaking it all in on a long lazy river cruise using one of the tubes from the resort. Overall, I cannot recommend this resort highly enough and we look forward to coming back soon.

I stayed here with my partner for our anniversary trip and we had the most wonderful time. The cabin was clean, cozy and has everything you will need. I really loved the decor too. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the site itself is beautiful. Perfect weekend getaway!

We stayed in one of the Domes and had a great time! It was mid October, so the weather was definitely chilly and we had to bundle up, but they provided a heater/generator in the dome to stay warm for the night. The grounds are pretty and the personal firepit was great for cooking dinner and smores . The owner was fantastic and made a great coconut Margarita. The staff was responsive via text and helped us with anything we needed during our stay. The location is good if you have a car to drive to nearby hikes/towns, most things we planned were around 20-40 minutes away. Overall would highly recommend and this would be a great place to return with a big group :)

We loved our time here. Scott is a great host, and his meals were incredible. The property is beautiful. Lots of thought, time, and investment went into creating the relaxed and remote atmosphere. The deluxe tent cabin was perfect, well stocked and comfortable. Great place for a getaway!

My husband and I spent a sunny mid-September weekend here. It's on the Battenkill River near Cambridge, New York, near the Vermont border. Within an hour you can find hiking, kayaking, antiquing, museums, wineries and more. (We went to nearby Lake George for a scenic boat cruise). On site there are kayaks, old fashioned bikes, a sauna, a covered pavilion with board games and BBQ grills, and a cute green trailer canteen for light meals and beverages. Accommodations range from geodesic domes for viewing the stars to luxury platform glamping tents. (Two check-offs for my bucket list!) This is their first year but they seem to have anticipated everything we could have wanted and we were impressed by their concierge level service for a very reasonable price. AND by Scott's BBQ ribs with twice-baked potatoes; not to be missed if you get the chance to try them!
