The campground features clean and well-maintained stalls, although some may require minor upkeep. Customer Reviews
Campground is in a great location to access a lot of trails and destinations. Campground itself is nice, needs a little up keep. Stalls were in nice shape and clean but most did not have working lights. We did stay in the "lodge"....STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. It is very old, out dated and has not been maintained. It had nasty old house smell. Over all dirty just from not maintaining. All the furniture is old and broken down. The floor has soft spots all throughout. One bedroom was closed down because of the floor. We did not have heat during our stay. We were given old space heaters to use. Beds are old. Most bedding was covered in what seemed like dog hair. It's very expensive for what it is.
Linda is nice $10/night for primitive camping Tent camping is not ideal here because the ground is so hard I broke a tent stake trying to drive it in. But it’s a big campground so there may be other options. The showers are decent If no one is in the office, call the phone number on Google Maps
Great time, clean campsites and grounds!
Nice campground for primitive camping. We tent camped 3 nights there in July 2016. The sites are gravel base and most have water and electrical hook ups, although we didn't use them. The manager was really friendly and they have 3 friendly cats that follow you around sometimes. The bathrooms were really nice for a campground - decorated in country style, but clean and had hot water every day we were there. There isn't a restaurant there anymore, unlike some outdated internet info, but that didn't bother us. Price was similar as other places in the area and we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again or recommend.
Campground was wonderful. The pens did hold a ton of water when it rained. They were a mudpit. Electric and water at campsite worked great. Bathroom was clean, showers were hot, pretty dark in the restrooms. Office sells trail halters and a few little things like matches, lighter fluid, etc. And ice! Owner was fantastic, maps were great, trails are horribly marked.
I ventured into this Campground today to do saddle fittings. The owner was gracious enough to allow us to use his facilities when I looked at the overhead map and knew that my truck and trailer would not fit into my client 's driveway. On short notice he allowed us to meet there. The campground was quiet and cozy. I'd like to come back and ride my mule there! Thank you again for allowing us to use your facility!
