Baymont by Wyndham Cookeville

We experienced great customer service from everyone we dealt with. The room was inexpensive, clean, quaint and comfortable. My daughter just arrived home from the hospital when due to brutally high winds thousands of us lost electricity in our area. We were so grateful to have a friendly, warm place to stay nearby where my daughter could begin to heal. Thank you Baymont! PS. Like some other hotels they require a deposit on top of your room payment. That deposit was refunded immediately upon checkout. Easy breezy check in and check out.

For the price it is well worth it! The clerk at front desk was nice& the place was really clean! Usually I would have to clean the bathroom before I use it at other places! Will stay there again!

They are now asking for a $100 cash deposit that they haven't ever asked for before on top of your credit card and then taking the deposit if a screw falls out of the door to your room. Then after you try to explain you had nothing to do with the screw falling out and they take your money they insult you. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, Particularly Kelly. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Prior reviews mentioned sausage and eggs for breakfast, but we only had yogurt, Quaker oatmeal packets, cold cereal and make-your-own pancakes as choices. The bed was comfortable, but the floors had not been swept because I found uneaten food on the floor … and a live bug running around. Hot water ran out in my shower in 5 minutes! We had very good experiences at other Baywood properties, but given the choice, I would not stay at this one again.

Overall my 2 day stay was good. Check-in was easy with the online option, as well as the check-out. The hotel is non-smoking which I’m glad, no one wants to stay in a hotel room smelling like cigarette smoke. However, I do smoke so I requested a patio or balcony room to do that. Worked out perfectly, not to mention the very scenic Mountain View with your morning cigarette and cup of coffee. I would use them again.
