Baymont by Wyndham Durango

!!!!!WARNING!!!!!!⚠️ DO NOT STAY HERE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE. I have NEVER stayed somewhere worst. Our window screen was literally coming off. Our towels had disgusting stains on them, the toilets wouldn’t flush, our rooms smelled like paint and old dust plus cigarettes in the no smoking rooms. The floors were also not fully tiled and done which did not feel comforting at all. The workers at the front desk were rude when we were asking for a different room because of how disgusting the original rooms were. It was so disgusting to the point we couldn’t even comfortably stay in there. There was a lot of old furniture laying around as well, it really fit the trap house vibe.

Pro: I didn't see any bugs. Cons: for the price of the deluxe suite, I could have stayed at an open, functioning, ready for customers hotel. Also, the floor was filthy.

No heaters except for space heaters, which are illegal!!!! Only one of four light bulbs worked in the bathroom. Only one towel for three people to use. No mirror at the bathroom sink. Local tv channels only (and lots of Spanish). Artery cover wouldn’t say on tv remote. No pull out bed as in website description. FYI, this room was booked almost four months in advance. We arrived and almost all hotels were fully booked. Ghetto ghetto ghetto

The staff were amazing people, friendly, helpful and really made me feel appreciated as a guest. Will stay there again for another work trip like this time, or when in the area for vacation. Rates were very reasonable for a king bed..

What a disappointment! This place looked nothing like the pictures. The attendant barely spoke english and was extremely difficult to understand. Then we walked into our room and should have turned around and walked out. It was literally a step up from a roach motel. Yes, it was in the older part of town, but the room looked like it was in the middle of construction. The baseboards were partially missing, and what was there was attached with drywall mud. The ceiling was literally falling down in the bathroom. The refrigerator was dirty on the outside, and there were food crumbs on the inside. When we left, we were told we would receive an emailed receipt for our stay, but two weeks later, still nothing. When passing through Durango, drive right on by this one. I could have stayed at the Marriott by Hilton for the same price.
