Baymont by Wyndham Holland

When I checked in via the app I had sent the wrong picture of license. I hadn’t updated it with the new on in my phone. When checking in at the hotel the persons manning the desk says, “why didn’t you just upload this license?” My first thought is no of your business my second thought was excuse me? My response was because I didn’t update my phone. Our room was nice. Was it $158 nice? No. I did rent the jacuzzi suite. The switch for the tub is like 8-10 feet from the tub. That is not at all convenient. Upon entering the room was cold. The heat had not been turned on for us ahead of time. So it was 60 something in there. The room is dated. There is the need for touchups on the wall and floor. The “tile” floor by the jacuzzi really needs updating. It is dated. The jacuzzi jets have some sort of black on the jets. Looked kinda grimy around the tub. It wasn’t dirty, but not thoroughly cleaned. Scrubbed, scrapped and cleaned.

Pros: Great location with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby! Pet friendly. Room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful with replacing microwaves when they broke (2) in 3 days. Cons: Breakfast was not great - we chose to eat elsewhere. A bunch of electric outlets and 2 lights next to the bed didn’t work. No nightstand on one side of the bed. Wall are very thin- you can hear a lot! Sliding door to entrance was broken. Parking lot was pure ice even in the handicap spots which made it really hard for us. Would we go back? In the summer yes. Winter maybe not.

Staff was amazing, Breakfast was good. Room was very basic, I would give 5 starts but the first room they took me to was covered in trash because they didnt clean it yet. Second room was average.

We booked this hotel late while we were driving and we were very impressed upon arriving at 12:30. Man at the front desk was very nice, rooms were clean, breakfast was good. Highly recommend!! For the price of the room this is a steal!!!!

The hotel in Holland, MI was very good. It was clean- linens, shower, carpet etc. The air in the room also smelled clean. The breakfast was a nice set up with a protein option. The front desk staff had an accent so I had to listen closely. The employees were all nice and helpful. I would stay here again. PS: The outside of the building does not represent the inside. The inside is nice for the price point of this hotel.
