Baymont by Wyndham New Buffalo

This was right off the highway. Very easy to find and get up to our room. The staff was friendly. The pool was closed during our stay but they provided the option to use the pool and hot tub at another hotel very close by. The room was clean and comfy. It was a great stay for a great price!

This hotel is run down and shabby. The pool and spa are “closed for maintenance.” The vending machine in the lobby is broken. The wood trim is all broken off the front desk. There are worn paper signs taped up everywhere. The tile in the lobby is dirty and not polished. The paint on the room walls is scuffed and chipped. I booked this room for a convenient place to stay after a nearby event, but I live about 45 minutes away. I chose to drive home rather than sleep at this hotel.

The hotel itself is older. The rooms need some updates, the bathroom sink was falling apart. The walls and floor were paper line so you could hear everything. It was clean and the staff ( there was only 1 lady ) was awesome. This poor woman was working her ass off, she definitely needs a raise.

Great for work it's pool and hot tub got us. Shower was hot. Woke up beds soft great sleep breakfast a plus!! Biscuits n gravy waffles and cereal juice. Probably be back sometime. No bugs great! carpet little dirty and outdated but they are at least trying to make people happy Another Stay one week later decided to stay 2 more nights. We're members of the points club and sometimes we get upgraded rooms for diamond club. I normally don't ask but when I ask the polite gentleman at the desk. He was happy to upgrade us. This made our stay!! My wife's birthday is tomorrow and this in room hot tubs the way to go. Nothing wrong with pool areas hot tub or pool but this was more personal and relaxing w tv. Thank you kind sir. We're enjoying quietness w relaxing bubbles.

Read past reviews after arriving and was astonished to see what had been written. I have not experienced anything at all like what others said. I loved my stay with baymont and would recommend to anyone visiting the area. They must have put a lot of time and effort into the hotel since then. This is a budget hotel not a resort. For the price I am extremely happy I stayed there. First impression was it was only 5 minutes away from literally everything I came for. Very easy parking. Easy and quick check in, and the front desk was extremely kind and welcoming. Asked for upgrade for anniversary and got moved to their best suite with a jaccuzi in the room for free. They made our stay very comfortable and nice. Very attentive to anything we needed. The pool and hot tub were great. The pool was warm which is hard to find in hotels. Everything was clean and tidy. The rooms are extremely spacious and well kept. The linens were very clean and smelled nice. Water got hot very fast and stayed hot. Vending machines that DO work for any late night cravings. Breakfast served 6am to 9am which saved us a lot of time and money. Overall very accommodating and welcoming. If you are looking for a budget motel, this is the one.
