Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sturgis

Shout out to Dan the man! I can't express how thankful we are for your help with our stay! Dan has exceptional customer service, is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and overall awesome! We booked a reservation for Days inn (DO NOT RECOMMEND BECAUSE THEYRE TERRIBLE!) He got us into a room for us and our 2 boys, that was spacious accommodating, real nice and comfortable! I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay here! Thank you Dan, you need a raise!!!

The room is nicer than the Hilton I stayed at the night before near St Louis. The hotel seems to have a lot to do downstairs (game room and bar?) but I arrived very late so I can't explore it. Most importantly, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I prefer not to put people's names online but Night Audit first initial "S" was very friendly, attentive, and present. Unlike most hotels I've arrived at very late in the evening, she was at the front desk every time I walked by and ready to assist! I checked out several hotels close by before deciding where to stay and this facility is by far the nicest in the immediate vicinity.

The rooms are spacious and clean. Housekeeping was so nice about restocking our supplies and towels. Pam at the front desk had top notch customer service. Sherry and Sue were amazing at keeping the hot breakfast filled and organized. They really worked hard. We’ll definitely be back.

Stayed here off season and the hotel and room we clean and nice but I was traveling with my service dog. There were a number of pets in the hotel that were allowed to wander around off leash in the hotel and the staff did not address it even though they were aware of the situation. They were even allowed to be in the breakfast area in the morning. They also had a number of tour busses that were allowed to block the entrance for hours in the morning, making it difficult for everyone else to get in and out.

We booked a room via a well known third party site a month prior to our stay. Paid the room in full. 5 hours prior to check in the hotel manager, Greg, called to inform us that the room was double booked by the third party booking site. He said he didn't have a room for us and apologized, but offered no assistance or bother to inform us that we should contact the booking site for assistance. Since this has never happened to us, we weren't aware that the third party site might offer help and even pay for the relocation room. After getting in touch with the third party booking site they said it wasn't overbooked on their end. In fact their site still showed a room available. So not sure who wasn't telling the truth but we wouldn't trust booking with this hotel.
