The two cabins were adequate for our group, even though they were supposed to sleep 8 each. One sofa sleeper, one queen bed, two bunk beds slept a maximum of 6 adults, which is what we had in one cabin and 5 in the other one. I would definitely return. The staff was very friendly and was a pleasure to work with.

This was our 4th time to stay at this park and we were looking forward to staying here with a group of friends while going into New Orleans to watch parades and eat good food. This park is a short drive into the city, has lots of room to walk, good sized sites with water and electricity and a dump station on the way out. If you don’t like camping, there are really nice cabins along the bayou! This time, the park seems to be getting run down. When we plugged into the electric, the watchdog cut off immediately. We let the staff know and they did fix it for us. However, the bathrooms were a mess. The women’s toilets didn’t flush well, so many people instead of flushing 3 times to get the toilet paper down, left it for the next person. The bathroom floors were not swept or mopped the entire 2 weeks we were there. The shower floors were actually muddy. It was over a week before they replaced toilet paper. We will return to this park if updates and improvements are made.
