Bayside Campground & RV Park Introduce

Welcome to Bayside Campground & RV Park, a camping and RV destination located at 6040 Sechelt Inlet Rd, Sechelt, BC V7Z 0P5, Canada. Situated in the scenic region of British Columbia, this campground offers a range of options for those looking to enjoy the outdoors.

Bayside Campground & RV Park provides services for both tent campers and RV enthusiasts. According to visitor feedback, the individual campsites are generally considered nice. The staff has also been noted as friendly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival.

While technically located within a distance walkable to the town of Sechelt, it's important to note that the route involves a walk of over a mile along an industrial road lacking sidewalks. Additionally, the nearby beach access may not be suitable for extended leisure activities, so planning for alternative beach destinations might be advisable.

It's worth considering the noise levels at Bayside Campground & RV Park, as some visitors have reported it to be quite noisy, particularly during peak times such as long weekends. Loud music, late-night conversations, and early morning activity have been mentioned as potential disturbances for those seeking a peaceful camping experience. The single bathroom facility means that campers may experience noise from others passing by throughout the night.

The campground offers tent sites, with one visitor mentioning a rate of $36.50. Fire pits are provided, although one review noted the use of old wheels without air holes, which could make maintaining a fire challenging. Firewood is available for purchase. While some campsites offer more privacy than others, it's advisable to inquire about site selection when booking.

While one review mentioned being told only one site was available despite others being empty, it's recommended to check current availability when making reservations. The proximity to the town of Sechelt is a potential advantage for those looking to access local amenities.

For local users in Singapore planning a trip to the Sechelt area in British Columbia, Bayside Campground & RV Park offers a base for exploring the region. However, it is recommended to consider the feedback regarding noise levels and the nature of the nearby beach access and walking route to town when making your decision. You can contact the campground directly at (604) 885-7444 or +1 604-885-7444 for more information and to make reservations.

First the positive: friendly staff and the campsites themselves were quite nice. The not so great: I was under the impression that this campground is in walking distance to town. Technically, it is, but you’d be walking a mile+ along an industrial road with no sidewalk. Also, the nearby beach access is not the kind of beach access you’d actually want to hang out at, so don’t think you’ll be walking to the beach to spend the day. Finally, the truly negative: this was, by a large margin, the noisiest campground I’ve ever stayed at. I was there 3 nights, and to be fair, 2 of those were part of a holiday long weekend. If you are interested in a campground where you can camp with a large group of people, and truly party, loudly all night long, then this is your place. The 11pm quiet hour came and went; it went on into the wee hours. And because there’s just the one bathroom, the partiers noisily walked past half the sites ALL night long. If you are interested in sleep, stay away. Lastly, my pet peeves: loud campers. It was the opposite of my idea of a peaceful camping experience. Folks playing loud music at their sites or as they walked around. Children playing loudly at 6:30 am. Campers talking loudly (I could follow their conversation 2 sites away) all day and late into the night. Clearly I’m a campground snob. But if you’re also a campground snob, you’ll appreciate this info. And if you’re a loud camper, I guess you will too!

Wasn’t impressed - $36.50 for tent site, and you can hear road until midnight-ish, then gets quieter. Old wheels for fire-pit, with no air holes, so hard to maintain fire. Some sites private, but a lot aren’t. $15 for wood, and it was less than half full tote, so I grabbed a piece and added to, and dude got pissy, but allowed, as he knew they were ripping people off. Told me, 1 site left, so take, or leave - but, 50% of the sites remained empty. Only positive is close to town. Wouldn’t return

Nice place. Showed up without reservation and they had remaining tent site numbers posted on honour system, pay in morning. Not as much seperation between sites as a provincial park but still reasonable. Not too dark. Washrooms and showers. Free wifi.

We just spent 4 nights at the Bayside Campground, would highly recommend it here. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice shaded spot in this heat that was quite private. The internet was great and it is very close to the Lighthouse pub

This is a great campsite with good proximity to local bike trails and town. Friendly service and nice treed sites with ample room for our camper and toys. The showers are amazing 8 minutes for $1 can’t be beat!
