The beach area is very small and down a steep hill. There were a few picnic tables but not many near the beach. Although it's a lovely park with trails and lots to offer the swim beach was very unexciting. Go for other reason. We watched quite a few families look at the beach and leave with disappointed kids. There were quite a few watercraft in the lake near the swim area creating wake that made the few people who were trying to enjoy the water hang on to floaties and tubes for dear life. We'll be back to High Cliff but not to swim.
Nice little beach with a good view and a shady place to sit right next to the beach. Great for a family picnic. On the small Beach dogs are also allowed.
Nice beach with some picnic tables. Cool to watch all the wind surfers and such playing out in front. They have a playground but it's closed right now. They do have showers and bathrooms on site. The beach has a lot of little rocks and shells so be careful of your feet.
Great hill side to lay out for a tan, sit and watch the sun go down, let the kids swim, build a castle in thd beach sand, clean, great parking, rest rooms are open, its a wonderful place...
Nice park, but don't expect to go swimming at the TINY beach. Spigots have been removed from women's showers so you won't be able to rinse off.
