Our family visited over Halloween weekend. There was so many problems and it’s so unfortunate. First checking in everybody that worked at beachcomber that we ran into seemed very annoyed by the fact that we were arriving instead of excited to greet us or welcome us to the campground. Next we got to our site and opened up our park model to find a fire alarm in the house to have a dead battery and a constant dead battery beep. We contacted the office they said someone would be out to fix it. An hour later of beeping we call again because nobody came and we were again told someone would be out and to be patient essentially. By 10pm we knew nobody was coming so I removed the fire alarm from the ceiling so we could go to sleep without the constant beeping. Going to bed was the next thing that kind of stunk. The bed was AWFUL and I mean AWFUL!! You couldn’t even move on the mattress without tons of noise coming from the springs and the plastic covering that is on the mattress. The next problem we found was that both the mini splits in the park model did not work which was not a huge deal because it’s October so we opened a window and didn’t sweat to death but it is an inconvenience. The next morning woke up to shower and found the shower head loose and leaking. Fixed the the shower and go to use the bathroom and the toilet won’t work. The toilet will not flush and found the float getting stuck repaired that myself because again maintenance just doesn’t come when you call. Also found while trying to cook breakfast that both the left side burners on the stopetop did not work and the igniter was broken. Next leaving the house and headed to the park to play came across several employees who again were very rude when trying to interact with them at all. Also the make you sign a form that it is a 5mph speed limit however apparently that doesn’t apply if you work there or if your riding a golf cart. The employees driving through the park or the kids driving golf carts through the park fly around corners and down streets. Some positives that I’d like to note. We went during the Halloween weekend and the haunted house/houses they setup and did was awesome! Super fun and very cool to experience and all the festivities they had for the Halloween weekend were a blast. Also during the summer I can imagine it being a blast to enjoy the nice lake they have on the property. The campground is also VERY clean which is awesome and the staff was on top of getting the trash and cleaning up trash from what I saw. From the experience I had I probably would never return to this campground and honestly would not recommend it to anyone especially if they are renting and not traveling in their own RV.

Nice campground. Very family oriented with LOTS of activities for the kids. Not the quietest campground until 11pm. Sites are decent size lots of shade/tree covered. Most sites are permanents and roadways getting in are very narrow and NOT big rig friendly. If you are over 40' be cautious its tough. Staff was helpful.

The grounds are well kept, the staff is lovely, and there seems to be plenty of things for kids to do. My only complaint is the number of golf carts and sites that chose to decorate with giant political flags some of which promoted violence. This is my vacation- time to get away from it all but here I am looking at their giant flags. ps. I did not see any security persons hassling people. They do drive by but are friendly.

My parents brought us here. Now I'm bringing my kids here. Total over 40 years now. They have all the different accommodation types for your desired way of camping. Love having a golf cart now to add to the overall experience. The staff are all nice. In the past at times there was a grouch or two. That's life. We just ignored them. Campground is clean. There are 3 pools and 1 being an adults only pool. Nice lake with beach. A yummy snack shack on the beach. Ice cream hut too! Also a playground with basketball nets. Check out their events calendar for all the fun things they offer! Also a campground store and game room. Laundry facility if you need it. Lots of fishing spots too. !5 minutes to Wildwood boardwalk for more added fun for all. I read some of the reviews with bugs mentioned.......wow people you do realize you’re camping right ????? It happens you are doing an outdoor adventure.

The campground and facilities are great. The location is good for quick access to Cape May or Wildwood. I have camped there several times, using my own camper for a holiday weekend. The only issue I’m having my parents and brother are there for the holiday weekend and we wanted to visit. The cost for a Saturday afternoon visit for myself my wife and our 7 year old is $70 with our car. That in my opinion is absurd!!! Maybe $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 12 is more of a normal cost for visitors at a campground.
