Didn't stay there yet. We were gonna stay there for 25th anniversary. We actually never got a honeymoon. We was gonna make it our honeymoon, but when we got there to run a cabin, there was only one left that was our own fault for not realizing, it was hunting season. So can't tell you my experience of the place yet. But obviously they're a good place because they were jam-packed full. Out of over a 100 cabins, they only had one left so I say the place is probably good like I said, I can't. Save for sure yet. But as soon as I get a chance too I will stay there and then I will let my followers know
I had a great experience on my riding tour with Tannette. It was a good weather day and Charlie, my horse for the day, was a good boy. Tannette was very laid back and made me feel comfortable as I’m not an expert with horses…dabbled some. The trails went deep into the woods and it was absolutely beautiful. Lunch at Eddy’s was great! The trip I chose, was to ride back to barn after we ate. I was very sore and asked if she could get the horses trailered back. Tannette very graciously honored my request. Thank you for an awesome time!
Absolutely a must! We love it! The horses.... The trails... The staff.... The shop.... The cabins.... Everything is wonderful!! They recently just added an arena and soon new bathhouse and VRBO!!!
Gorgeous ride on the trails today with Kim & Marietta. My horse was Charlie. Beautiful red gelding that was perfect for me. Thanks!
Like most things, it's best to know what you're getting into and be sure it's what you're looking for. We stayed here for the 2025 solar eclipse. For that purpose, it was great. Full RV hookup for $31/night usual and double for the eclipse is reasonable. The staff were incredibly friendly. It was great to stay here and view the totality without having to go anywhere else. Plenty of space to maneuver around. The only thing to be aware of is that we were unable to pitch a tent at our site. The RV had no issues on the gravel pad but the ground was all clay and big rocks - no where for a tent. The fire pit was down a gravel hill among large rocks and clay that got and stayed very mushy when it rained. Nothing against the place for this - still 5 stars - just be aware. But as I said overall great. Picnic table by the fire pit, good amenities and location, good campers. It is a horse campground so watch out for horses and their "business" but again - still great. They had bath houses (though we didn't use them) a playground, a little store (mostly horse equipment and little snacks), sold firewood, etc.
This is my first time here. There are not many areas for tent camping. The bath house is still under construction. However with this being said I've enjoyed my week here tent camping. It is very quiet and peaceful here, giving you time to think about things of you need to. Even though there were a lot of campers here it was quiet. All the horses here were amazing. I didnt ride this time, but I have walked around a lot and seen them. I do want to say congratulations to the bear branch family, they had a baby foul born while I was here. She's beautiful. If you're not one wanting to be on your phone while you're here great, the service is sketchy (at&t at least). I've enjoyed disconnecting from the modern day technology.
We camped here during Memorial Day Weekend, one night only, but we had a great time. The campgrounds were mostly RVs, but we didn't have any issues finding a spot to set up our tent. There are plenty of green areas to camp, including firepits and picnic tables. Everyone there was really friendly and helpful, I definitely recommend this place. Now, these are some things that I consider good to highlight from my experience camping there: ◇The store mostly has horse supplies, but they also have snacks/food, firewood, and some camping supplies. ◇ There is an ATM in the store ◇ As of May 2025, bathrooms are in construction but fully functional. Showers with good water pressure, both hot and cold. Really clean, too! Spacious, with several power outlets. ◇Heads up, phone service is weak. ◇Firepits available. ◇Peaceful environment, very family friendly. ◇Tip: If you are looking for privacy, I recommend camping by the lake.
Jessicka had the Idea to go Horseback Riding n So we did. Had a very Memorable time here all around good times😄🤚
