Looks like a nice campground but didn't stay, just drove through. See pics. Check the DNR site for camping info. They look like nice campsites with a few right on the river. Olympic Otter
Perfect for a free (with discover pass) campground. Fairly central location to Olympic. Road was a bit loud at night. Clearly defined camp spots with picnic table and fire pit
A nice place to camp, I would definitely go back. Each spot has a fire pit with a cooking grate and a picnic table. The restroom is a vault toilet (no water, no flushing), and there was toilet paper available. A house cat visited us at night, I assume it lives nearby because it did not look starving. I went in winter, so the bug population was basically nonexistent. The cafe next door looks permanently closed.
BEST DNR camping ever!! I can not recommend this campground more. Right next to the prettiest waterfalls just off the main road from the camp
Nice, convenient campground right off the 101 but we heard very little traffic noise. Free with Discover Pass. Sites were very secluded, limited sun so we didn't get much from our solar panels but I'd definitely stay again. Sol Duc river runs right by the camp with a trail running alongside, very nice and the little diner right outside the entrance was great. Toilets were pit toilets so not the greatest but for free in a beautiful setting can't complain too much.
