A small state campground that is oriented towards families. Swimming, boating, and hiking are all available. There is a sand beach and playgrounds for children. Campsites and restrooms are very clean. Dogs on a leash are allowed. Be careful of the occasional poison ivy patch. If you don't enjoy your nature interrupted periodically by children shouting and laughing and by the occasional dog barking, you might want to look for another campground.

1st time to this park and such a peaceful nice park. Nice small kids beach area with a play set, paddle boats, kayaks. Camp sites appear to be really as well. Enjoyed a company event here and looking forward to bringing out the family and grandkids to enjoy.

Great park with beautiful views of nature and the night sky! This campground feels a little too "kept" for my liking, but definitely worth checking out!

Went camping and fishing and had a great time. We camped out in a tent in Acorn Loop spot 18. The ground for the tent was soft but bumpy. Putting up our tent was easy. The picnic table was convenient. The area was beautiful with a lake view and it was very peaceful. The bath house was about 100 yards away. It was our first time camping in a tent with no electricity or water and we had fun.

This is called a hidden gem for a reason! We are camped at the full-hookups (RV) and the area is basically brand new. New public restrooms / showers are very nice and clean. Hot water. And the grounds and lake are very nice. Great sandy "beach" area and the water is wonderful.
