Stayed here last summer and I plan on going back. The staff is very friendly and it’s a great place to get out of town for the weekend to relax. Although I do wish they had a decent pond to fish, when I went the water was very low(less than 1-2 foot) and I didn’t see a single fish in June.

We really enjoyed our trip to Bear Run! The location is top notch. The sites are on the smaller side but all the shade makes up for the lack of space. The staff are very friendly and helpful. After a heavy rain, they were out and about lending a hand and making sure everyone had what they needed. The store was well stocked, even for a late in the season stay. The pool was beautiful and had a LG on duty, playground was safe and fun for the kiddos. The food truck was a nice surprise as well! This was our first time camping at Bear Run and we can’t wait to come back!

Very cute and cozy campground outside of Pittsburgh for a refreshing weekend with the smells and sites of nature! The staff was very kind and helpful for my first time visiting. There were plenty of fun activities even so late in the season. I hope to return next year!

We recently stayed at BRC for two nights. The location is superb and there are a lot of amenities, especially for kiddos. We were blown away at the service when we entered the park at 2050 after a rainstorm. The security helped us get in our pull through site and stayed until we were fully hooked up with electricity and sewer. We never experienced this service at a RV park before. The only downside I saw was that the dog run is in a shady location. Therefore, the grass isn't growing in there making it a muddy mess. No one wants to let their dog run in dirt then get right back into the RV. I would stay here again and I highly recommend it.

A group of us tented here. It was the first time I’ve tented in forever! We had so much fun. The campground is kept clean and everyone is respectful. Bathroom facilities near office are kept incredibly clean!

Really nice camp area! The whole area is really nice and well kept, great general store in case you forgot anything, they have some events to. There's a playground for kids and great swimming pool to. The "primitive" camping is kinda dense, but there's spots that are more secluded, there a nice selection depending on group sizes. There was breakfast at the main building this morning, I might take a trip just for that because it was so good lol! We'll definitely be back.

Cute family owned camp ground. The owners were welcoming and wonderful. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the size of the big rig pull thru sites were very small - while we were there it looked like they are working on improvements. We look forward to coming back

We have a travel trailer. We use full hook ups for 30 amps of electricity. They had a pull through site. Very helpful and nice staff. Immediately addressed an issue with a water leak at the hook up. Recommended if you are visiting the Pittsburgh area. Just 30 to 40 minutes north on I 79.

Not big rig friendly, have to walk thru wooded area to get to fishing pond. Rd into place is single car width, if u meet another camper u are s.o.l. no way to move over. Streets in campground very narrow. Parking pads r paved which is nice. Store & pool area was nice. Other campers were constantly walking thru our area. Curfew for noise was 10;30 p.m. The folks beside us were sitting by fire talking & laughing loudly until after midnight. Not much of a playground.
