Generally a really nice place as long as you're okay roughing it. It's not a 'campground' in the traditional sense, it's just a well occupied piece of otherwise unclaimed beach. There's enough space for multiple groups to be there with disturbing each other (if you're not shooting) Main problem is people don't pick up their garbage and glass. Keep an eye on your dogs!
It’s an excellent place to enjoy nature, with the river, hills, and woods. However, some policing would be in order here. There appears to be some illicit activities, with vandalized vehicles standing on the roadway.
Great place to go for a river cool down or a evening fire. Couple tent spots and beautiful views of the valley
Water was dirty but very warm, very busy, still a lot of litter from the usual inconsiderate people.
Always a beautiful place to spend alone or with family.
