We really enjoyed our time here. The first 12 or so camp spots are very close together with no privacy and place to pull your car in, so be aware of this is you’re reserving a spot. However we still loved the area, the open lawn was awesome to play catch in and the valley is gorgeous at sunset. Walking to and from the car could be annoying but we definitely got our steps in. Also NO BUGS! We never so a mosquito or were bothered by flies at the site; probably due to the creek being dried up but it was very nice to not have to use bug spray. The camp host was also the nicest and coolest host I’ve ever met and she made our time there even better. Would stay again.
Came here to visit a friend that was camping for several days. Campground/bathrooms were clean and neat, and the camp host Dory was amazing! She was fun and friendly, and quite enthusiastic about the area. She politely warned us off shooting any fireworks (it was the 4th of July weekend) and was a definite + to the overall experience.
One of the most peaceful, welcoming campgrounds I’ve stayed at. The camp host was incredibly kind—laid-back but attentive, and you could tell that she genuinely cared about maintaining a good vibe across the grounds. I do want to mention—it’s called Beauty Creek, but there is absolutely no creek or water access. 10/10 serenity, 0/10 creek. Still would absolutely stay again.
Stayed here for Memorial Day weekend. This campground was well maintained, the bathroom was well stocked with toilet paper and clean. Firewood available for purchase. The creek is dried up which was disappointing but I had seen this in previous reviews, there are a few potholes in the road driving in but easily avoidable if you’re paying attention. Some of the sites are pretty close together so you can easily hear your neighbors but if that doesn’t bother you I’d recommend staying!
With a name like Beauty Creek you woukd think it had a running creek. But no it was all dried up. Very disappointing when the water is what we were going for. Also we had very loud neighbors and a couple fighting. Was not a great experience. Would not recommend.
