I absolutely adore this quiet, remote, small park. Only six electric spots. We camped in a tent spot. #45. The view was outstanding. Clean bathrooms. Nice park workers. Great hiking trails. Lots to do! We will definitely come back.
Absolutely gorgeous campground. Stayed in one of the Sherman cabins. It was clean and well maintained. The fridge, microwave, ceiling fan and heater worked great. There was also a small supply of paper towels and trash bags. The camp host was friendly and helpful. The campground itself was quite peaceful. Very relaxing. There is a strip mine reclamation happening, lots of new trees planted. Looking forward to seeing it in a few years when the trees have grown. The North Country Scenic trail runs through the campground as well as a few other trails. I would like to have explored them all. Will definitely be back.
It's beautiful but the electric sites are along a noisy road. If you go in nice weather try to get the spots in the cul-de-sac. No shower house. The water hook up has to be held on the whole time you fill up.
The potable water well had slow flow that stopped before we were 1/3 full. Sun shower had a nest or something on the shelf. Glad we have bathroom in the RV but using it sparingly. We've been here 2 days and haven't seen a host. It's very Scenic.
Nice campground for tent camping. Our site had plenty of space, with a fire ring and table. Great views. Pit toilet was clean. Short 6 min drive to the main park, but hiking trail from the middle of the campground.
