We recently stayed at the campground and had an interesting experience. I would NOT bring a large family here. Positives: The staff at the campground was very very friendly & seemed like great people. In addition, the back end of the campground has an incredible view and is nice to take your dogs on a walk down there. Negatives: of all, the google search pics of the campground were a little deceiving. The big white cabin you see is the only one across the whole campground and although it’s nice, it’s the only one. The prices were really high given the campsite quality & cabin quality. Also, it’s really really far from anything so take that into consideration if you’re bringing family. The camp-sites are also VERY close together. The women’s bathroom was really run-down and only one shower worked while I was in there. It needed a lot of updating. Also, there are a lot of people there that stay “monthly” which is FINE, but a lot of their campers seemed run down and they seemed like a lot of them were on drugs. I got yelled at by a gal in the bathroom & I’m not sure quite why?? She was just rambling at me. This is the first campground I’ve ever been to where I’ve experienced a crowd like this and with an 8 month old, did not feel very safe. There was a gentleman who would stop by husband in his truck when we’d come in the campground every time at his camper. All in all, there were a lot of things that weren’t amazing. I understand it’s a campground, but it really needed some cleaning up around the campers that were there monthly. I would probably not stay here again even though the people who owned it were so nice. :(
No frills. Bring your own firepit. Nice people. Access to the lake, but it's a good walk down there. Mostly full timers that live there. It was just ok. I think we'll try out other places in the area before coming back. They have "rules" but they clearly aren't followed. It's all good. Our spot was clean, very close together.
This place was way to out of the way and to expensive for what they give you. Your surrounded by rvs who live there and do drugs. The road to the lake is horrible if you don't have 4 wheel drive good luck getting back up. Just be cautious here.
The worst place I've stayed at. all gravel Dusty no fire pits people don't know where their parking. place is falling apart.it sucked
I'd call this a rv park. There's people living long term, and others appear very long. Not organized lots. Lots of encomplete rehab, but I didn't see anyone doing anything. Bath house men's side was very nicely remodled. Wife said women's was clean but not up to date. Looked like a nice pool. I think the rates are a little high for fall campers. State down the road for half the price. Would like to check it out when and if they clean it up. It is in a good area. And definitely okay to stay at. I wish them good luck in their endeavors
