Beaver Lake Resort

Lots are all owned and we were at an AirBnb. The cabin was great, but the lake itself is kind of whatever. Nothing for services except whatever your Airbnb hosts decide to provide, except for a laundry facility.

Hello Steph B - I think you are writing a review on a different Beaver Lake Resort. We have very clean shower and washroom facilities and no outhouses. This place is location on Beaver Lake on Vancouver Island (Near Lake Cowichan). We have an excellent husband and wife maintenance team here, who work very hard to keep things clean and in working order. It is typically very quiet, often we have the entire beach/docks to ourselves.

Do you like to party? Well this is the place to be! Coming to beaver lake for a nice relaxing time? Nope, ain’t gonna happen! Between the sound of people partying, kids screaming, baby crying and dog barking, you sure won’t be able to hear your own thoughts. Don’t forget to bring a nose plug because those outhouses will make you puke, no matter how much air freshener you spray in them. Prepare to give a private show every time you change because the see-through curtains won’t stop your neighbors from peeking in. Maintenance is non existent, and you get a free pet mouse with each cabin. Enjoy! On a good note, the scenery is beautiful.

Beautiful, quiet, private mobile home community with a few basic tent & RV campsites. Per other reviews, lake is lovely, shower/bathrooms are very clean (and free), tranquil is definitely the word.

Now i am a Boy Scout of 15 years. i have camped all the way up and down this island in the bush and in campsites. This campsite is hands down the best i have been to on the island prices are extremely reasonable, Staff are friendly and helpful. They have a laundry mat on site and showers as well and while we are on the topic of bathrooms they are the cleanest bathrooms i have ever been in at a campsite as they are cleaned daily, never mind the showers are free!!! Spacing is a nice its a little on the close side but the management has put large shrubs to separate and privatize the sites a bit. the sites them selves are cleaned and tidied on the regular. the site has a playground, a beautiful scenic and historic walk around the lake, a dock, fishing and a volleyball court on the beach, i don't know if the go carts are for rent in the winter months but they have tons to do for the kids. i saw a amphitheater in the entrance for skits and possibly summer movie nights. The Shareholders/Local residents are Friendly,polite and happy to see campers coming to enjoy their little patch of heaven. I strongly Recommend this campsite as it is still close to town but you wouldn't be able to tell once your settled in. Best Campsite on this rock hands down!!!!!!!!! P.s i read the review above me the office is closed all winter long feel free to call the number as the owner will be down shortly to intake you. but as far as the store goes its open daily in the summer months to grab a quick ice cream cone to cool down or maybe your septic hose is damaged and need a new one but don't want to travel to Duncan they have it. but the store is closed during their winter months. HOWEVER!!!!!!! if you have eyes you can clearly see a door bell beside the door asking you to ring it and give them a minuet to get down stairs so office isn't "truly" closed.
