Pretty campsite with lots of shade and very clean bathrooms. Most sites are a few minute walk from a creek that is beautiful but doesn't have any good fishing. It's about a 10 minute drive from the site to mirror lake if you're looking to fish.

Nice campground. A little forgotten by the administration, but I think that keeps the campground quiet. The bathrooms are very clean. First come, first serve. The water is capped off.

My family has been camping here for a few years now that Sulphur is reservations only. We used to love it but it has gone down hill the past 3 years. There's no longer water within the campground, you have to drive to others if you want water. This year we dealt with 2 separate camp hosts. The one couple was great, friendly, and helpful. The other was an old man and he was GRUMPY and so rude. He came up to us as we were setting up camp demanding money saying he couldn't wait and refused a check even though their signage says checks accepted. Two days later he stopped one of us on the way to the bathroom at 7am accusing us of staying past the days we had paid for but that wasn't true. After checking his records and verifying he didn't bother to come back and apologize for his mistake or being rude.
