Bedrock Campground Introduce

Bedrock Campground is a popular destination for campers seeking an authentic outdoor experience in the beautiful region of Fall Creek, Oregon. Nestled in a picturesque setting surrounded by nature, Bedrock Campground offers a variety of camping options and amenities that cater to both RV enthusiasts and tent campers. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or an adventurous getaway, Bedrock Campground provides a perfect blend of comfort and outdoor activities.

One of the standout features of Bedrock Campground is its diverse range of campsites, offering something for everyone. The campground has multiple sites to choose from, ensuring that campers can find a spot that suits their needs, whether they're traveling solo, with family, or in a group. The site variety includes options for tents and recreational vehicles, making it accessible to a wide range of visitors.

Bedrock Campground is also known for its excellent swimming area, which attracts both campers and day-use visitors. The swimming spot is welcoming to swimmers of all levels, with areas designated for different skill levels. A rope is provided to assist swimmers in entering the water, adding a touch of convenience for those looking to cool off or enjoy a dip.

In addition to swimming, Bedrock Campground offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. The area is surrounded by trails and creeks, making it an ideal location for hiking, fishing, and exploring nature. Campers can enjoy the serene environment while engaging in these activities, ensuring a memorable experience during their stay.

While Bedrock Campground does not offer running water on-site, it provides necessary facilities such as pit toilets to ensure basic hygiene needs are met. It's important to note that there are no onsite hosts at the campground, so visitors should be prepared for a more self-reliant camping experience. However, previous campers have noted that the environment is generally clean and that other visitors tend to be polite.

One of the unique aspects of Bedrock Campground is its lack of cell service. This creates an ideal opportunity for campers seeking to disconnect from technology and immerse themselves in nature. While there's no onsite sale of firewood, visitors can bring their own or purchase it nearby if needed.

Customer feedback highlights both the strengths and areas to be aware of when visiting Bedrock Campground. Many campers praise the variety of sites available, the convenience of the swimming area, and the abundance of trails and creeks nearby for outdoor activities. The natural beauty of the surroundings is also a significant draw for visitors.

However, some reviews mention that the lack of running water and onsite hosts may require campers to be more self-sufficient. Additionally, while most visitors find the campground clean and well-maintained, there have been instances where groups camping at the site play music late into the night. Despite this, previous guests emphasize that their experiences have generally been positive, with other campers being considerate of noise levels.

Bedrock Campground is a fantastic choice for those looking to enjoy Oregon's natural beauty while engaging in outdoor activities. Whether you're planning a solo trip or bringing along family and friends, the campground offers a welcoming environment that caters to all types of campers. Great campground with many sites to choose from. Great swimming area visited by campers and day use folks. Pit Toilets in campground, but no running water available. This campground doesn’t have onsite Hosts and so it isn’t uncommon for groups of campers to play music late into the night. My experience has been that other campers are polite and the campground is fairly clean. No cell service available and no firewood sold within the campground. Lots of trails & creeks nearby.

Very nice area to camp. There is a rope to help assist you down to the water. Swimmers of all levels can find a decent spot to get into the water here.

The campground itself is closed as of summer 2018, but the swimming is still accessible and ad fun as ever! I love that there is a good.mix of shallow and deep swimming for all levels. It can be a bit crowded on a hot day, but still worth it to me. Come in by the short (3 min walk) path across the highway from the parking area for an easier walk without having to climb down a steep bank.

Very crowded campground with lots of people and families partying on the weekend. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean but there was a fair amount of trash everywhere - mostly near trash cans/dumpsters where animals got into it and caused a mess because trash bags were just piled up on the ground around them. If you're looking for peace and quiet or family friendly camping you may want to keep looking as it was pretty rowdy here - adults having a good time while their kids run amok around the sites. I believe the camp host stays at another campground down the road which is evident by the state of cleanliness and general state of chaos. Lots of folks jumping off/hanging out on the bridge which is the only entrance into the campground and then they refuse to move and give you the stink eye when you're trying to get across this one lane bridge into the grounds. The saving grace is the abundant creek access to water slides and wading pools and some nearby hiking trails - a serene escape in the early morning hours when everyone else is sleeping off their hangovers.

Great place up Fall Creek to dip-in for a refreshing swim. Just a quick drive from the hustle-bustle of the Eugene/Springfield metro. The creek abuts Bedrock campground so you need to park either in the day-use parking area or in one of the turnouts around the area and then make a short hike there. You are not allowed to park in the campground without renting a campsite. On hot summer weekends this place will be busy so be prepared to be around other people. People adore this area because the creek is deep and slow-flowing, perfect for swimming and diving. Please remember to respect this little slice of heaven and dispose of all trash in a responsible manner. Don't be 'that person'.
