Lots of parking and there’s a nice trail on the left side of the parking lot (left across the road) that is clearly marked with two lines of well-placed rocks. We came here and spent 1 hour walking and taking photos of the cool wave / rock formations. This place is a “hidden gem”- not crowded and still undiscovered in my opinion. We didn’t have to get a lottery permit or pay anything to park here during the daytime (we do own an annual national park pass but it‘a not required).

No toilets, no service, no security. We did not reserve the place - there are only 8 spots. But we found a spot near this campground. It was a very wild, safe, and nice spot to spend a night, see the sunrise, and hike around.

Great place to stop and see the area. 3 night maximum stay. It is boondocking! No water, sewer or electric. $14 per night. 6 spots with picnic tables. Looked like a fairly new bathroom onsite. We did not use them. Beware, others will come in at night and park wherever they can (non-site areas).

Nice easy access and close to highway. NO SHADE. The New Wave Trail is next to it.

This campground spot is the prefect jumping off point to a bunch of great hikes! The 2nd wave is right here and has amazing views. The Dam view and tour is excellent. The hanging gardens hike and the swim spot is just past the bridge.

What a beautiful setting! It's windy, so be warned, but at $14 a night it's incredible. The toilets are clean and well maintained. The stands are level and gravel. There are fire pits and picnic tables. I can highly recommend this place!

Right by the Glen Canyon Dam, you have a view of beautiful formations, Lake Powell, and potentially some beautiful sunrises & sunsets. The spots are solid, pretty close to level, was not use to a faith-system where you fill out information cards to charge your stay. But, the Park Ranger over at the marina entrance gate was very helpful in explaining the situation. @ $14 a night, you definitely can not beat that with the great views, the peace & quiet and the well-maintained area. I'm looking forward to being back there again some time !

We got there at about 7pm and it was pretty filled but there were still a couple of open spots all night. The next morning it mostly cleared out so it seems of you get there relatively early on the day you shouldn't have an issue. We have a 43' 5er and there was plenty of space

Epic views. Close to Glen canyon. Affordable. The bathrooms are pit toilets, but very clean and hardly any smells. The behive trail is right there and It's a great little hike. I will remember this campground for a very long time. The view is spectacular.
