My family has been spending our summers at Belhaven Lake Campground for almost 30 years, and it never disappoints. The pool is always clean and perfect for a refreshing dip. There's always something to do, whether it's relaxing on the lake beach, fishing, playing bingo, or enjoying the live bands on weekends. The whole campground is spotless, which we really appreciate. The staff and fellow campers are incredibly friendly and always ready to help. It's the perfect spot for making summer memories and lifelong friends.

A nice private campground, however, management makes it difficult for residents with many silly rules. For instance, at $10,000 a year for rent, campers have to pay extra if they minor children that accompany them. The entire campground is under video surveillance that is regularly monitored. This should be a good thing for security and safety, However, management will scrutinize this footage to find reasons to fine their campers.

The waterside bungalow cottage is glamping at its finest. The luxury of a hotel with the comfort and privacy of a BnB. This is the perfect retreat whether you’re a couple or family of 3-6. We stayed at the F27. It has three bedrooms, one with a comfortable queen bed, one bunk bed room and 2 more singles which could be pushed together. It has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, WiFi, 3 AC units, 2 smart TVs, a grill and fire pit on a tiny private beach. Attention to detail like the beautiful decor, high quality indoor and outdoor furniture and even steak knives and touch lamps all add to the comfort. The water-facing porch is perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings from early morning sun to wines in the evening, and the private campfire is the cherry on top. Stay here if you have a chance. You’ll leave refreshed and rested. Worth every penny.
