This camp ground is awesome. It's very well kept. The sites are even raked before you arrive. The camp host is helpful and informative, knows the area really well. It's really beautiful.

Book this now! Sites #7 #11, #13 & #14 sit directly on the river. Site #15 is also on the river, but with a smaller footprint. No matter what site, you will hear the river 24/7 and not be disappointed. As others expressed, this campground is well maintained. Rentable cabins sit on the river behind the campground. Staying here puts you at an approx. 45 min drive to the Trail of 1000 Giants, Needles and Dome. There is a general store (closes at 6) and pizza/bar 1 mile from camp.

We definitely enjoyed our time here. Drinking water was good, bathrooms were clean (vaults), camp sites well groomed. No cell service but Dan had a wealth of knowledge for that area and was an amazing host.

We had a lovely time! Dan (the host) said that bears and other wildlife have been infrequent in these parts. However, we've seen a handful of butterflies, insects, and reptiles. What a beautiful space to relax and decompress among the giant trees and a stream of water.

Beautiful campground with a nearby creek and Giant Sequoias throughout. Clean bathrooms (vault toilets) and tidy campsites were all maintained by our friendly, helpful camp host, Dan. Not too buggy. We stayed at campsite 1, and really enjoyed it. Will probably look at 14/15 or 9/10 if we come back with a group. All campsites had newly installed bear boxes.

No tap water, you'll have a creek running throughout the campsite bring a bucket. Be ready for no internet connection. Is very nice campsite. Beutiful nature. There is bear activity.
