Great place to get away from it all. We stayed in room #9, very small but clean. A few aspects could use some updating. Soaking pools are warm and relaxing, can be a little crowded up to 6pm. Day users have to vacate at 6pm. Good walking trails and a unique water garden area. A homemade breakfast made for a good start to the day. Next time we come back we'll opt for a cabin.
Dear Resort Administration, I wanted to share my experience and offer a few suggestions to enhance guest comfort and safety. 1. Chlorine Levels: The pools are well-maintained at around 104°F; however, the chlorine levels seem quite high (around 1300 ppm), which creates a strong odor and can cause skin irritation. Consider switching to a saltwater chlorination system, which may be gentler for guests. 2. Upper Pool Cleanliness: There is noticeable dirt on the floor of the upper pool. A more frequent cleaning schedule could help keep it pristine. 3. Hilltop Bathrooms: The bathrooms located up the hill are showing signs of age, with some fixtures broken. Updating these facilities would greatly improve guest experience. 4. Hot Water Warning: It would be helpful to have a clear sign near the pool where the hot water enters. This would help prevent burns, especially for young children. The location and gardens are beautiful, and we appreciated the friendly staff. These changes would make an already lovely experience even better.
I've been coming here over the years and always had a good time. This time was our anniversary trip and I picked a cabin solely based on the location and ended up not liking it. The manager was really nice and accommodating about it and we ended up having a really great time. Already looking forward to coming back again.
This is always a fun trip! Meet new people, walking in the wild. Morning breakfast is fun to sit relax talk and plan the day. The staff is nice, rooms are clean. The Hot pool is awesome feels wonderful when it's cold. The prices on cabins is very reasonable. Lots of trails to walk or bike, animal friendly some rooms no pets. Book your next adventure there I think you will have a great time.
Rated 4 stars due to the quality of the facilities. We stayed in an RV spot so while we didn't see the interior of the rooms that many complain about, we did see the condition of the upper restrooms/showers and they were similar to what people describe. Glad we had an RV. Regarding the pools themselves, they were nicely maintained and what you would expect from a mineral rich water source. The property is great, we hiked some of the trails and had fun watching the river from the bridge. Will visit again, but will likely stick to our RV...
